Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for any clients that have or are:

  • Pregnant or nursing.

  • Under 18.

  • Diabetes.

  • Viral infections and/or diseases.

  • Tendency towards Keloids or scarring.

  • Skin irritations (rashes, sunburn).

  • Had botox/fillers 2 weeks before appointment.

  • Used any products with retinA

  • Used Accutane in the past 6 months.

  • Allergic to anesthetic (Lidocaine).

  • Undergoing active Chemotherapy.

  • Antibiotics (needs to be off it for 2 weeks prior to appointment.

  • Dark pre-existing eyebrow tattoo.

| PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT​

BROW PERMANENT MAKEUP

​

 (If you wear makeup you are more than welcome to come in with your brow makeup, this will give us a better visual of your style).

​

| THINGS TO AVOID

  • ALCOHOL & CAFFEINE: do not drink alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before the procedure.

  • SUN & TANNING:  avoid it one week prior to the procedure.

  • DO NOT  TWEEZE/ WAX/ TWO WEEK BEFORE THE PROCEDURE: the more natural hair growth you have, the better.

  • DO NOT TAKE ANY BLOOD THINNERS/PAIN RELIEVERS: Aspirin, vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure to avoid excessive bleeding. Tylenol is ok. 

  • NO BROW TINTING TWO WEEKS PRIOR.

  • Avoid RETIN-A, retinol, vitamin A at least 2 weeks prior and avoid on the area after the procedure. 

  • BOTOX OR FILLERS: botox and filler should be avoided 2 weeks before/after procedure.

  • AVOID CHEMICAL, LASER PEELS, MICRODERMABRASION OR FACIALS For 2 weeks prior procedure.

  • ANTIBIOTICS: no antibiotics use for 7 days prior the procedure.

  • PLEASE NOTE: you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

LIP BLUSH

(Feel free to bring you favorite lip Gloss/ lipstick color, this will help us choose the perfect shade for you).

 

If you have a history of cold sores It is your responsibility to contact your doctor to obtain anti-viral prescription (Valacyclovir, Denavir 'Penciclovir', Valtrex or Acyclovir 'Zovirax'), at least a week BEFORE your procedure.

PLEASE NOTE: cold sores could happen to anyone at any time after the procedure. It is NOT a sign of incorrect treatment or lack of safety.

​

  • You will want to start a lip scrub once a day for 3 days before your procedure so that your lips are prepped and don't have rough texture, which will prevent proper pigment saturation.

​​

  • Apply lip balm multiple times a day for  3 days.

LAMINATION

who is not suiitable for lamination?

- Pregnant woman (first trimester)

-Breastfeeding

- Recently had eye surgery, has any open wounds/ pimples around the brow area

-Anyone with eczema or psoriasis around the eye/brow area

-If you have very sensitive skin or an active sunburn around the brow area.

Appointment preparation 

-Do not use Retinol, retin-a. 3 to 5 days prior appointment .

-Wait 5 days before or after any chemical peels.

-For best results, let your brows grow as much as you can.
